Baxter's Nerve Release Part 1 with Audio Voice Over

This surgery is a Baxter's nerve release with plantarfasciectomy for chronic heel pain. This patient did not respond to several months of conservative care and decided to undergo surgery for the affected area. The surgery has about 85% success rates according to original studies. Diagnosis of Baxter's nerve entrapment is based on clinical findings, diagnostic injections and MRI findings. Post-operative course is full weight-bearing in a cast boot for 5 to 6 weeks. Fully recovery is about 12 weeks.

FDL Transfer to PT Tendon for TPD - Part 2

This is a flexor digitorum longus tendon transfer to the posterior tibial tendon for a dysfunctional posterior tibial tendon. This video is in 4 parts. The FDL tendon is run through a drill hole in the navicula. This is usually part of several procedures for a Stage 2 TPD deformity.
