Dr. Patrick DeHeer, DPM - Lapidus Arthrodesis Part 1 for Hallux Abducto Valgus

This is a video of a Lapidus arthrodesis for a bunion deformity in a pediatric patient, no distal procedure was preformed. Cross-screw fixation was used for fixation, this is a 2 part video.

Dr. DeHeer, I am a newish podiatrist in New York. I have a Lapidus scheduled for this Friday. Its my second time performing this procedure. I watched your video of part 1 of this procedure and I'm wondering where I can find the second half. You are inspiring to watch as a surgeon. I also have a question: what instrument did you use to open the joint initially? was it a periosteal elevator? Thanks so much for the video.
